The Government of Balochistan, School Education Department has announced a vacancy for the position of Managing Director, Balochistan Education Foundation (BEF). The selected Managing Director will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, ensuring effective administration and financial management, implementing the policies and decisions of the competent forums, and achieving the objectives of the Foundation in accordance with applicable laws, rules, and government policies.

Qualification

Candidates must possess:

At least a Master’s Degree / 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized university/institution in one of the following fields:

Education

Educational Management

Public Administration

Business Administration

Management Sciences

Economics

Social Sciences

Development Studies

Public Policy

Any other relevant discipline

Higher qualification in a relevant field will be given due weightage during the selection process.

Experience Required

Applicants must have:

At least 15 years of post-qualification professional experience, preferably in education, public-sector management, development sector, institutional governance, program/project management, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience at a senior management/leadership level in Government, autonomous/semi-autonomous organizations, public-sector entities, reputable private organizations, or development-sector institutions.

Experience in institutional management, strategic planning, financial management, human resource management, governance, monitoring and evaluation, and implementation of large-scale programs will be preferred.

Age Limit

The candidate should not be less than 21 years of age on the closing date for submission of applications, subject to applicable laws and rules.
